Why do we hold onto our slavery so tightly?? I know I will feel better and enjoy life more when I choose not to sin and I know I have the grace from God to reject sin, yet still I find myself freely and consciously choosing what is wrong. There is something very familiar about slavery. I've been here all my life; I know what it's like. It's easier. But it's not joyful. I have to work to live out the freedom Christ has given me but it's freedom. It's worth the struggle.
