Merry Christmas!

A priest at my in-laws parish always sings Joseph's Song after celebrating the Christmas Mass. He pauses before the final prayer to kneel before the altar, facing the crucifix, and sing this acappella. It's a very powerful performance, a prayer and reflection encouraging every listener to focus on the implications of Christ's birth (thus the reason he repeats it every year). Despite the busyness and bustle of the day, I encourage you to take some time to reflect on the incredible event of God's Incarnation. GOD, the Creator of all, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, became a human. Imagine yourself with Joseph holding Baby Jesus and marvel with him at the incredible love of the Father to send His own Son as one of us.
