Romans 3:21
It seems to be incredibly easy for us to forget how powerful and merciful God is. He doesn't have to do anything for us. We're only humans; the difference in size between us and God is greater than that between a gnat and the whole Solar System. Yet in His great mercy He doesn't leave us in the depressingly impossible situation of recognizing our sin and not knowing how to change it. First He gave the Law so we could learn to recognize our sin and know what we would have to do to change it on our own. Then He gave His own Son so we can find a way to His righteousness without even the Law. We don't deserve such blessings; thank God He offers them anyway.
