Hebrews 13:15-16
Sometimes it seems reasonable to think that the nuns and monks who dedicate themselves to prayer are the only ones who can "continually offer God a sacrifice of praise". But really a sacrifice, even a sacrifice of praise, should cost us something. A life full of distractions makes it challenging to continually return to prayer, but that means that every time I do return I am offering a sacrifice that costs me.
