Limitless Spending Money
My 5yr old has noticed that we use a couple different cards to get what we want when we're out and about. She realized that we use a different card at the library from the (credit card) one we use at stores. From her perspective these cards are like magic, gaining us access to what we desire whenever we choose to use them. So she naturally wondered, "Mom, when I'm 6 can I get a library card and an everywhere card too?"
No, child, you need to wait until you're much older before I'll let you have a debit card and even older than that before you can get a credit card.

When my kids ask me for things and I say no because I don't have any money, they say, "But mom, you can just use your card." So wise.
