Romans 3:5
It is easy to see God's glory in a sunset or a beautiful flower. It is easy to see God's love when everything in our day seems to go just the way we would like it to. It is easy to see God's righteousness in someone dying after having killed another person or having done something incredibly wrong. But God also reveals Himself in the contrasts. When I choose the path of unrighteousness, the difference between myself and God is clearer, including His willingness to forgive, to show His mercy, to pour out His grace. Anyone can take something good and turn it into something else just as good or better. But only God always transforms what is bad into something amazingly good.
