God isn't safe

Family Life Radio has a promo running reminding listeners to keep at least one eye open and one hand on the wheel when worshiping God while driving. They call it praising God...safely. Listening to it recently reminded me just how unsafe it is ever to worship God, or really to relate to Him at all. Describing God as safe is more ludicrous than describing a walrus, or shark, or lion, or volcano, or earthquake as safe. He's too big, too far beyond our ability to control to ever be "safe".
